Terms of Service

By downloading or using Birthday Reminder ("the app", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The service

Birthday Reminder helps you save birthdays, anniversaries and other special dates and reminds you before each occasion. It also offers birthday wishes and gift suggestions. You must be at least 13 years old to use it.

2. Your content

The names, dates, notes and photos you add are yours and are stored on your device. You are responsible for the information you enter and for having the right to store details about other people.

3. Reminders are best-effort

We try hard to deliver reminders on time, but delivery depends on your device, its operating system, and its battery-saver / Do-Not-Disturb settings. We cannot guarantee every reminder arrives exactly on time, so please don't rely on the app as your only reminder for critical matters.

4. Subscriptions & billing

• Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold and billed through Google Play.
• Payment is charged to your Google Play account. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel any time in Google Play → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the paid period ends.
• Refunds are handled under Google Play's policies.
• Prices and the Premium feature list may change; changes never affect a period you have already paid for.

5. Gift links & affiliate disclosure

Gift suggestions may link to third-party stores such as Amazon, Flipkart or Myntra. Some of these are affiliate links: we may earn a small commission on qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. We do not sell those products and are not responsible for your purchases from third-party stores.

6. Advertisements

The free tier may show ads, including via Google AdMob. Premium removes ads. Ads are provided by third parties and we are not responsible for their content.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app — including not reverse-engineering, disrupting or overloading it, not using it for unlawful purposes, and not storing content you have no right to.

8. Disclaimer & liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, missed occasion, or loss arising from a third-party store, ad or service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
